Sometimes ya jump. Sometimes you don't.
You will never know which you were supposed to do until it is probably too late . So.... after you smack into the ground or dive gracefully into the water. I'm a firm believer of if you aren't saying "Holy Shit, Holy Shit, is anything broken"? You probably aren't doing it right.
Sure a few people learned they couldn't fly and that going into the ground headfirst can cause bodily harm, but you need something to keep you on your toes.
SO. Now onto the warm and fuzzy/profound bit. (Pick which one fits better, you're an adult)
People may ask themselves whether or not they are doing the right thing. If you believe in the pirate's code, you'll know it's not so much a rule carved in stone as much a general guideline.
Is it bad moral compass based, as in my grandmother would whoop my ass if I she caught me doing this shit. If this is your moral dilemma you definitely should abort that bad idea, stat!!!
OR
Is it I think I need to do this to move forward?
In life you will be presented with opportunities which will be daunting and terrifying even things that will cause you to shake in your little space boots. The important thing is you are shaking in your little space boots, or that you have them on for that matter.
To make matters worse about your leap of faith moments. There will always be those Monday morning quarterbacks and naysayers telling you their two cents. Remember though kiddies, it is your choice and yours alone to make.
The key is to simply trust yourself and know you are making a decision that allows you to move forward. (Remember no grandmama ass whooping decision making) Moving is key, it may not be forward at first but as long as you go in that direction eventually.
So with that in mind make the leap and hope to god it ain't concrete you're landing on, just in case pack some band aids and Windex. Some Greek guy told me that shit fixes everything.
